Professional Application Tips
- Store gelcoat ≤25℃, avoid direct sunlight, separate from MEKP.
- Use low-speed mixing for curing agent/pigment to avoid air entrapment.
- Avoid high-shear mixers to prevent thixotropic index drop causing sagging/bubbles.
- Never pour directly on mold; mix thoroughly in a bucket before application.
- Use styrene-based accelerators; avoid non-reactive solvents to prevent pinholes.
- Humidity <80%, mold temp should be 2-3℃ higher than gelcoat for best gloss.
